Creamfields 2026 Trance Lineup: Is This the Year Trance Properly Takes Over Daresbury Again?
Creamfields 2026 is looking very interesting for trance fans.
Which Trance artists are playing at Creamfields this year? Turns out A LOT OF THEM!
The festival returns to Daresbury over the August bank holiday weekend, 27-30 August 2026, and the lineup already has some serious names for anyone who likes their dance music with a bit of lift, emotion and laser-friendly drama.
Armin van Buuren is the obvious one. Whenever Armin is on a UK festival lineup, trance fans pay attention. We actually saw him in London 2 weeks back for his Orb show in Barking Park - Raving in 34c heat is always fun.. Reminded us of Luminosity 2019 where we were stomping to Factor B's 1st set in the glasshouse of a bar.. 37c has never felt more like 50c heat!
Anyway, Armin is one of those names who can pull in casual dance fans, old-school ASOT heads and people who only planned to “watch five minutes” before suddenly staying for the whole set.
Then there is Tiësto. Yeah yeah, we know, the sound has moved around a lot over the years, but his name still carries huge weight with the trance crowd. Add in acts like Underworld and Faithless and you have a lineup that speaks to more than just current chart dance. There is history there. There is big-field emotional energy. There is plenty for people who still remember when festival sets felt like journeys, not just drops stacked on drops.

Creamfields has always been broad. That is the point. You are not getting a pure trance weekender - you are getting one of the UK’s biggest dance festivals with trance, progressive, techno, house and main-stage monsters all rubbing shoulders. But for 2026, there is enough on the bill for trance fans to start properly planning.
Just maybe don't follow our (pretty poor, but fun) example of not sleeping for 3 days straight at Creamfields 2015, hey?.. Or.. y'know.. do follow our example ;)
If you're going to Creamfields 2026 and you love trance (which you do, obviously, or you'd probably not be reading this) have the best time! x
