UK Trance Events and Festivals 2026: The Definitive Guide for Ravers
Right. Let's get into it.
2026 is shaping up to be one of the best years for UK trance events in recent memory. We're talking outdoor festivals, indoor bangers, warehouse raves, beach parties and - for the first time ever - a proper ASOT festival on UK soil. The scene has never felt more alive, and the lineup sheets for this year are genuinely making our eyes water.
Whether you're planning your whole year around trance or trying to figure out which events are actually worth the ticket price, train fare and inevitable dubious after-party decisions... this is the guide you need. No fluff. Just the events, the vibe and what to expect from each one.
Get that calendar out. You're going to need it.
Creamfields 2026 - Daresbury, August Bank Holiday
27-30 August 2026 | Daresbury, Cheshire
The big one. The one everyone's mum has heard of. Creamfields is the UK's flagship dance festival and for 2026 it returns to Daresbury over the August bank holiday weekend with a lineup that has the trance community genuinely buzzing.
Armin van Buuren is on the bill. That alone is enough - whenever Armin shows up at a UK festival, something special happens. He's one of those rare DJs who can pull in the ASOT lifers, the casuals and the people who "only came to watch for five minutes" but somehow end up staying for three hours and crying during the breakdown. We know the type. We are the type.
Then there's Tiësto (yes, the sound has evolved a bit over the years, but the legacy and the field energy is undeniable), Ferry Corsten representing properly for the trance faithful, Aly & Fila, Billy Gillies, Bryan Kearney, Daxson and a solid supporting cast across the weekend. Add in Underworld and Faithless for a bit of emotional damage from the rave heritage side of things and you've got a festival that genuinely works on multiple levels.
Creamfields isn't a pure trance weekender - it never has been. You're sharing the site with house fans, techno lot, and the main-stage commercial crowd. But the trance contingent has its own world within that world, and in 2026 that world is looking very well-stocked indeed.
Just... maybe don't go three days without sleep. Allegedly some of us learned that lesson at Creamfields 2015. Allegedly.
Luminosity Beach Festival - Yes, It Counts (Sort Of)
25-28 June 2026 | Zandvoort Beach, Netherlands
Alright look - technically Luminosity isn't a UK event. It's in the Netherlands, on an actual beach, under an actual sun (weather permitting, this is northern Europe after all). But if you're a UK trance fan and you're not already planning this one... seriously, what are you doing?
Luminosity Beach Festival is the annual pilgrimage. Full stop. There is no better pure-trance festival experience anywhere in the world. The lineup for 2026 is absolutely stacked: Paul van Dyk b2b John 00 Fleming (hold on a minute, WHAT?), Markus Schulz, Ben Nicky presenting Emotional Havoc, Bryan Kearney, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Daxson, The Thrillseekers, Solarstone, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Ferry Corsten, Andrew Bayer presenting Extasia, Aly & Fila, Billy Gillies... and that's before you even get to the Classics Stage.
The Classics Stage alone deserves its own paragraph. Ralphie B, Schiller, Jonas Steur playing classics sets on a beach at sunset? If that doesn't move something in your soul then mate, I genuinely don't know what to say to you.
Loads of UK ravers make the trip every year - EasyJet to Amsterdam, train to Zandvoort, done. It's actually quite manageable. Worth every penny. Worth the sunburn. Worth the slightly questionable Dutch festival lager situation.
Rong Indoor Festival 2026 - Manchester
Saturday 3 October 2026 | O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
Rong has become one of the most important trance events in the UK calendar and the 2026 indoor edition at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester looks absolutely ridiculous on paper. Three stages, state-of-the-art production, proper lasers and a lineup that reads like someone raided a trance fan's dream wishlist.
We're talking Factor B & Lostly presenting Lost Minds (yes, really), Ferry Corsten presenting Gouryella (Ferry CORSTEN PLAYING GOURYELLA LIVE, let that sink in), Billy Gillies, Bryan Kearney, Craig Connelly, Daxson, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Lange b2b The Thrillseekers, Mauro Picotto, Richard Durand, Super8 & Tab, Sneijder, Ciaran McAuley, Matt Darey... the list genuinely goes on.
Victoria Warehouse is the perfect venue for this kind of thing - big enough to feel like a proper event, intimate enough that you're never far from the action, and the production values they manage to squeeze into that space are genuinely impressive. Manchester as a city also just gets it, doesn't it? There's a reason the trance scene has always had a strong home up north.
If you can only do one pure indoor trance event this year, Rong is probably the one. Get tickets early - this will sell out, and it deserves to.

ASOT 25th Anniversary - London (A Historic One)
Saturday 14 November 2026 | Drumsheds, London
This one genuinely made us stop scrolling and do a double take. A State of Trance - Armin van Buuren's legendary radio show and festival brand - is staging its first-ever indoor festival on UK soil to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary. At Drumsheds in London, which if you haven't been, is a properly epic converted industrial space in north London that does large-scale events brilliantly.
Twenty-five years of ASOT. Think about what that means for a second. Armin started broadcasting in 2001 and built it into the biggest weekly trance radio show on the planet, with over 80 million listeners. The episodes, the live broadcasts from Privilege in Ibiza, the festival stages at Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy, Ultra... and now they're bringing the proper ASOT festival experience to the UK for the first time. About time, honestly.
Armin headlines, obviously. The full lineup hasn't dropped at time of writing but expect it to be substantial - ASOT festival events are known for running multiple rooms with a serious depth of booking. Three rooms (X, Y, Z as per the usual ASOT format) means you'll have options ranging from the main room euphoria to darker, more progressive sounds elsewhere. Classic ASOT.
November is a bit grey in London but inside Drumsheds you won't notice. This is going to be the talking point of the UK trance year. Get on it.

Listen Live on Euphoria FM →Trance Sanctuary presents Kearnage X - London
Saturday 7 November 2026 | Troxy, London
Trance Sanctuary has been one of the most consistent and beloved names in UK trance events for years now - proper grassroots, proper community, proper music. And for 2026 they've pulled out something special: Kearnage X, celebrating ten years of Bryan Kearney's Kearnage parties.
Ten years. A decade of Bryan Kearney absolutely murdering crowds with that relentless, driving, hard-hitting trance sound that he basically built his entire brand around. If you've never been to a Kearnage event, you need to understand: it goes. Hard. This will not be a gentle evening.
Troxy in London is a brilliant venue for this - beautiful art deco ballroom that somehow becomes a completely different animal when the lasers go on and the sub-bass kicks in. The contrast between the grand decor and the absolute carnage on the dancefloor is half the fun.
Trance Sanctuary events always attract a crowd that's genuinely there for the music - no posing, no messing about, just people who know and love the genre. That makes for a very different energy to the big festival experience. More intense. More focused. Brilliant in its own specific way.
PaSSion ClaSSics - Back2Festival, Leicestershire
Saturday 8 August 2026 | Cattows Farm, Leicestershire
If the name Passion means something to you, you're already sold. If it doesn't... quick history lesson: PaSSion was the legendary club night that ran out of The Emporium in Coalville, Leicestershire in the 90s and early 2000s, booking names like Sasha, John Digweed and Paul Oakenfold to a town that had absolutely no business hosting those kinds of acts - and somehow making it feel completely right every single time. It was genuinely magic.
The brand is very much alive in 2026, and the PaSSion ClaSSics appearance at Back2Festival at Cattows Farm in Leicestershire feels like a proper homecoming of sorts. An outdoor festival, summertime, Midlands... the DNA is all there. If you know the Passion legacy, you'll know exactly why this matters. And if you're a younger raver who missed it the first time around, this is as close as you're going to get.
There's also a PaSSion & Craig Connelly Present: Experience night at O2 Academy Leicester on 7 November 2026, if you want something more of a traditional club-night format. Craig Connelly is absolutely on fire right now - his sound has evolved into something genuinely special and a proper room booking with him as the centrepiece is always going to deliver.
Daxson at XOYO - London
Saturday 22 August 2026 | XOYO, London
If you want to see one of the most exciting DJs in trance right now in a proper club setting, Daxson is headlining an extended set at XOYO in London under the AAA Fusion banner. August 22nd, and it's already generating serious buzz.
Daxson's sound sits in that sweet spot between uplifting and tech-trance - melodic enough to give you all the feelings, driving enough to keep your feet moving even when your brain has completely departed. He's been absolutely everywhere this year - Creamfields, Rong, Luminosity, Creamfields Malta - and the reason he keeps getting booked is simple: the man consistently delivers.
XOYO is a mid-size London venue with a brilliant sound system and a crowd that turns up to actually listen. Perfect match for what Daxson does. This is one of those extended-set bookings where you genuinely don't know where the night is going to go - and that's the best kind.
Unit Nine, Milton Keynes - The Hidden Gem
Various dates throughout 2026 | Old Wolverton, Milton Keynes
Not every brilliant trance night is a massive festival. Sometimes the best experiences happen in a converted warehouse in Milton Keynes with 500 people who absolutely know what they're doing.
Unit Nine is exactly that kind of place. Intimate, unpretentious, brilliant sound, and a programming team who clearly love the genre. For 2026 they've already lined up some genuinely exciting nights, including a Tranceology event (30 May) with Agnelli & Nelson, Lange and The Space Brothers - three names that carry serious 90s-era weight - plus a Dave Pearce date in October and various Trance Residence nights throughout the year.
The intimacy of somewhere like Unit Nine is actually one of its biggest selling points. When the lasers are cutting through smoke in a room of 500 people, there's absolutely nowhere for a DJ to hide - and the good ones relish that. The connection between the booth and the crowd is electric in a way that doesn't quite happen at the big festivals.
If you've never done a proper small venue trance night, Unit Nine is a great place to start. Or, if like some of us, you cut your teeth on exactly these kinds of nights in the 90s... it's also a very satisfying place to feel completely at home again.
Trance in the Woods - Nottingham
29-30 May 2026 | Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire
One that caught our attention and deserves a mention - Trance in the Woods, held in the genuinely beautiful surroundings of Thoresby Park in Nottinghamshire. A woodland setting, proper production, and a focused trance lineup. It's exactly the kind of mid-size event that the scene needs more of: not trying to be Creamfields, just doing its own thing brilliantly.
Thoresby Park is a spectacular backdrop for a festival - mature trees, open spaces, the kind of natural atmosphere that contrasts brilliantly with laser lights once the sun goes down. Nottingham is also genuinely well-connected if you're travelling from most of the UK, which helps.
Keep an eye on the full lineup as it develops. Events like this tend to grow fast when they get the formula right.
Why 2026 Feels Different
There's something about UK trance events in 2026 that feels genuinely different to even just a couple of years ago. The scene has been building steadily, artists like Billy Gillies, Daxson, Key4050 and Craig Connelly are pulling in new audiences, and the older generation of fans are more engaged than ever. You're seeing proper crossover appeal starting to happen - festival organisers noticing that trance rooms fill up, sell out and generate serious word of mouth.
The ASOT 25th anniversary event at Drumsheds is probably the clearest signal of where things are heading. Five years ago, nobody would have predicted the first-ever indoor ASOT festival happening in London. The fact that it's happening now - and that tickets shifted quickly - tells you everything about where the demand is.
Add in the continued strength of events like Rong and Trance Sanctuary, the nostalgia pull of brands like PaSSion, and the absolutely stacked calendar at places like Unit Nine, and you've got a scene that feels healthy from the very top down to the grassroots.
This is what the genre has always done. It builds. It rewards patience. And when the breakdown finally hits... the payoff is absolutely worth every second of the wait.
Get your dates locked in. 2026 is the year. ❤️
