Scotland & Glasgow Trance Events 2026 / 2027: The Braveheart Raves
Ask literally any international trance DJ what their favourite country to play in the world is, and nine times out of ten they will say: Scotland.
There is simply no crowd on Earth that sings along to basslines and synth riffs quite like a Scottish rave crowd. From the industrial warehouse vaults of SWG3 in Glasgow to rowdy sweatboxes in Edinburgh and up in the Highlands, Scottish clubbers do not do half-measures. They are loud, completely mental, and up for it from the very first beat to the final encore.
Scotland has given the trance world some of its hardest-hitting legends, including Mark Sherry, David Forbes, and Will Atkinson. If you want proper 140+ tech-trance that rattles your fillings loose, you need to head north of the border. Below is our guide to the standout Scotland trance events for 2026 and 2027, with official Skiddle ticket links.

1. Let's Trance with Mark Sherry - Inverness (Winter Kick-off)
Right, let's talk about Scotland. Just before the Christmas break kicks off, Let's Trance is bringing Outburst Records boss and tech-trance royalty Mark Sherry right up to the Highlands for a seriously intimate tear-up at Upstairs Inverness.
Catching Mark Sherry in a mega-arena festival is great, but catching him in a tight, 300-capacity sweatbox where you are close enough to watch him work the CDJs? That is where the real magic happens. Expect driving, relentless 140 kicks, acid tweaks, and a Scottish crowd bouncing off the low ceilings. Tickets are strictly limited, so grab yours before they vanish.
Scottish Rave Tips & Transport
Glasgow (SWG3): Located on Eastvale Place in Yorkhill. Grab a train to Partick or Exhibition Centre, and you are just a short walk away. Taxis back into Glasgow Central are plentiful at the end of the night.
Inverness: Upstairs Inverness is right on Academy Street, literally across the road from the train station. Couldn't be easier if you are travelling in from out of town.
